Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Affordable Dumpster Rentals (ADR). Please take the time to review these e-signature documents and reply with the credit/debit cardholder’s electronic signature, by which you, as the cardholder, agree to the Terms and Conditions herein. 

Scheduling and delivery of this container cannot Occur until ADR receives the completed, signed, e-signature documents and the initial payment.

CONTRACT RENTAL PERIOD

The rental period begins on the Anticipated Delivery Date and ends on the Scheduled Pickup Date listed on your invoice.

• If no pickup date is pre-scheduled, the customer must request removal by email or text. Rental charges stop accruing the day the removal request is received.
• If the container remains on site beyond the included rental period, additional daily rental fees will apply and may be charged to the card on file.
• ADR is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  In instances where a permit was needed for placement of the container, ADR must adhere to the terms of the permit for pick up. ADR will remove the container once a permit has expired per local ordinances.

SCHEDULING

Requests for delivery, pickup, exchanges, or live loads must be made at least 24 hours in advance during business hours.

ADR does not guarantee specific delivery or pickup times. Customers should not schedule labor or construction work based on estimated delivery times.

ADR does not provide service on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

PLACEMENT AND ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Customers must provide adequate space for delivery and pickup of the container: 21 feet vertical clearance, 80 feet length clearance, 12 feet width clearance

• Dumpster dimensions may vary depending on the manufacturer.
• If placement instructions cannot be followed or the location is unsafe or inaccessible, the driver may place the dumpster in the safest available location or decline service. Relocating a dumpster after delivery may result in a trip fee. Please see the “Additional Fees or Charges”

Customers must ensure the dumpster is accessible for delivery and pickup.

• Obstructions can include, but are not limited to, blocked access, Parked vehicles, Locked gates, Debris outside the container, Overfilled dumpsters. Any obstruction preventing the delivery or removal of a container can result in an additional charge.

Drivers may be unable to remove dumpsters that are unsafe, overloaded, or obstructed resulting in an additional fee of at least $250. Please see the “Additional Fees or Charges”

WEIGHT ALLOWANCE

Each dumpster rental includes a specific weight allowance, which is clearly listed on your invoice. If the contents of the dumpster exceed the included weight allowance, additional disposal charges will apply. These charges are based on the actual weight recorded at the landfill scale. By placing this order and signing this agreement, you authorize ADR to charge the card on file for any weight overage fees based on the landfill scale ticket.

After pickup, the dumpster is transported to a state-regulated landfill, where it is weighed to determine the total disposal weight. Affordable Dumpster Rentals (ADR) is billed by the landfill for the full weight of the debris, and any weight exceeding the included allowance will be billed to you. Landfill processing and billing schedules vary. As a result, weight overage charges may be processed several weeks after the dumpster is removed, and in some cases may take 4–8 weeks or longer depending on landfill reporting. An updated invoice will be emailed outlining any additional charges. The emailed invoice serves as notification of the charge.

• The volume of debris in the container does not determine its weight. Heavy materials such as roofing, concrete, dirt, shingles, plaster, or wet debris can significantly increase the total weight.
• Dumpsters must not be filled above the top edge of the container. Overfilled dumpsters may be refused for pickup until excess debris is removed.
• Drivers may also refuse to transport dumpsters that are overweight, unsafe to haul, or contain prohibited materials. In these cases, the customer is responsible for correcting the issue before the dumpster can be removed.
• If the hauler or ADR incurs fines or penalties from transportation or regulatory authorities due to excessive weight or prohibited materials, those costs will be the responsibility of the customer and may be charged to the card on file.
• If you have questions about the type or amount of debris permitted, please contact ADR before loading the dumpster.

PROHIBITED AND HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

CONTINGENT UPON LOCAL ORDINANCES AND STATE REGULATIONS:

Certain materials are not allowed in the dumpster without prior approval from ADR, including:

• Hazardous or medical waste, paint, chemicals, solvents, propane or fuel containers, batteries, asbestos, tires, appliances containing Freon, fluorescent bulbs, liquids, soft furniture, mattresses, or other prohibited items under local, state, or federal regulations.

Heavy materials such as clean dirt, concrete, brick, roofing, or similar debris must be disclosed at the time of order. Special containers may be required, and the total amount of heavy material is limited (generally no more than half way full, or 10 cubic yards per dumpster).

The dumpster must not be overfilled above the top edge, and the combined weight must comply with DOT and landfill regulations. Excessive or undisclosed heavy material may result in:

• Pickup refusal until corrected, Inconvenience trip fees, Additional disposal charges or fines

You are responsible for all debris in the container, including any penalties, fines, or extra disposal costs resulting from prohibited or undisclosed materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for all debris placed in the dumpster and for the safe and proper use of the container during the rental period.

Site Access & Placement - You must ensure there is adequate space and clearance for the delivery and removal of the dumpster. This includes verifying that no obstacles such as vehicles, gates, trees, power lines, or other overhead obstructions will interfere with the truck or container. If the driver cannot safely deliver or retrieve the dumpster, service may be delayed and additional fees may apply.

Surface Protection - If the dumpster will be placed on new concrete, pavers, asphalt, or other surfaces that could be damaged by the weight of the truck or container, you are responsible for protecting those surfaces (such as placing plywood prior to delivery). ADR is not responsible for damage to driveways, pavement, landscaping, or other surfaces.

Weather & Unauthorized Use - Dumpsters may allow water to drain but can still accumulate rain or moisture. You are responsible for covering the dumpster if you wish to prevent rain or debris from increasing the weight of the contents. You are also responsible for preventing unauthorized dumping by others.

Proper Use of the Container - You agree not to move, alter, repair, remove parts from, or otherwise tamper with the dumpster. Burning debris in the container is strictly prohibited. You are responsible for any damage to the dumpster beyond normal wear and tear, and repair or replacement costs may be charged to the card on file.

Permits & Local Requirements - You are responsible for obtaining any permits, licenses, or approvals required by local laws or ordinances prior to delivery.

Service Requests & Access for Pickup - Requests for delivery, pickup, or additional service must be made at least 24 hours in advance during business hours. The dumpster must be accessible and not overfilled or unsafe to transport when the hauler arrives for pickup. If service cannot be completed due to access issues or unsafe conditions, the dumpster will not be moved until the issue is corrected and service is rescheduled.

Fines & Third-Party Charges - You are responsible for any fines, penalties, or fees imposed by third parties, including municipalities, landfills, or regulatory agencies, resulting from the placement, use, or contents of the dumpster. This includes any overweight transportation fines assessed by the Department of Transportation.

PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION

During the initial phone conversation, you agreed verbally, and in writing by electronically signing the Terms and Conditions in this Rental Contract, that you are expressly authorizing ADR to charge your credit/debit card for the rental rates during the contract period. You grant ADR approval and permission to retain your billing information and apply any additional fees, costs, or refunds to the card on file, which may become applicable during or after the end of your service period. ADR will email an updated invoice to the cardholder's email address detailing the amount due before charging the payment to your card on file if extra costs occur. ADR will not call in advance to process due charges. The email with the updated invoice serves as your notification of the costs. In the event the credit/debit card on file becomes unusable, a new payment link will be provided to close any outstanding balance.

• ADR will not process the contract after the denial of the secondary credit card.
• Cards declined for non-payment will continue to be invoiced. Your contractual obligation to pay remains intact, and you are responsible for the fees owed.
• Payments are due upon receipt of invoice(s). Any payments not remitted within thirty (30) days will be assessed a late fee of $50.00 per thirty-day period thereafter (See the “Additional Fees or Charges” section).

CANCELLATION AND REFUND TERMS

It is your responsibility to text or email, at least 24 hours in advance, during regular business hours to cancel the rental service.

• All containers canceled, by you or an affiliate, receive a cancellation fee.
• When you or an affiliate attempt to refuse or cancel the container while the hauler is en route, or during delivery to the job site, an inconvenience trip fee is charged in addition to a separate cancellation fee.
• Cancellation of the rental service is not possible after the hauler is en route or after the hauler arrives at the job site.
• You expressly authorize payment of the inconvenience fee, when applicable, and the cancellation fee to the credit card supplied to the account. 
• The updated invoice, sent to you via email, listing all transactions attributed to this container, is your notification of the cancellation amount.
  
  Please note: A request for dumpster pickup does not cancel or close the order. After the dumpster is removed and processed at the landfill, additional charges such as weight overages, extra rental days, prohibited material fees, or trip fees may apply. An updated invoice will be emailed outlining any additional charges. By placing this order, you authorize Affordable Dumpster Rentals (ADR) to charge the card on file for all applicable fees.

All refund requests must occur within 30 days of service completion. ADR shall issue refunds within ten business days after receipt of the refund request. The refund amount is the difference between the original amount billed and any fees which may become applicable during or after the end of your service period. The updated invoice, sent to you via email, listing all transactions attributed to this container, is your notification of the refund amount.

ADDITIONAL FEES OR CHARGES

Additional fees may apply depending on the circumstances of the rental. An updated invoice outlining any applicable charges will be emailed to the cardholder, and you authorize Affordable Dumpster Rentals (ADR) to charge the card on file for these amounts.

Additional fees may include, but are not limited to:

• Weight Overage: Each dumpster includes a specified weight allowance listed on the invoice. If the contents exceed this allowance when weighed at the landfill, overage charges will apply and will be billed once ADR receives the landfill weight ticket.
• Additional Rental Days: The rental period is listed on your invoice. If the dumpster remains on site beyond the included rental period, a daily fee will be charged until the container is requested for pickup.
• Cancellation Fee: A cancellation fee of at least $100 applies if the order is canceled after scheduling. If an order is canceled without a prior notice of at least 24 hours, the cancellation fee will be at least $250.
• Inconvenience Trip Fee: If a delivery or pickup cannot be completed due to circumstances outside ADR’s control, a trip fee of $250 or more may apply. Situations include but are not limited to: blocked access, unsafe placement conditions, overfilled containers, relocation requests, refused delivery, or permit issues.
• Container Damage: Customers are responsible for any damage to the dumpster beyond normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs will be billed accordingly.
• Live Load Service: The first 30 minutes on site is included. Additional time will be billed at $175–$225 per hour, prorated as necessary.
• Permit Fees: Some municipalities require permits for dumpsters placed on public streets. Customers are responsible for obtaining and posting required permits and paying any associated fees.
• Prohibited Materials: Disposal of prohibited or hazardous materials may result in landfill fees up to $250 per item, plus any additional penalties assessed by the landfill or regulatory authorities.
• Late Payment Fees: Balances unpaid 30 days after invoice may incur a $50 late fee, which will continue to accrue monthly until the balance is paid.
• Franchise Fees: Certain municipalities require franchise fees for waste disposal services. These fees may increase if landfill charges exceed the included weight allowance. Landfill processing and weight tickets may be received weeks after pickup, and applicable charges will be billed once documentation is received
• If payment is not received, or if a customer disputes a charge (including via a credit/debit card chargeback), you are responsible for all costs incurred by ADR to collect the balance. This includes, but is not limited to, 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

ADR shall not be liable for any damages to pavement, subsurface, curbing, lawns or other surfaces, irrigation systems, septic systems, underground utilities, wells, fencing, houses, sheds, garages, vehicles or other property damage resulting from the equipment and trucks providing service at the job site location. In no circumstances shall ADR be liable for personal injury or any other damage, whether indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive arising out of or for services or equipment provided.
