Role:
The role of the Follow-Up Specialist is to get back to customers who have contacted Affordable Dumpster Rental and have yet to receive a reply from a team member for the matter. They ensure that all customers are reached out to and provide quality customer care and service in every interaction they have with customers. They provide solutions and make appropriate decisions based on the needs of the customer and our current business practices, policies, and procedures.
Specific Responsibilities:
● Follow-up with customers using courteous and efficient service to aid in converting that call into a sale
● Log all necessary details and information from the phone call with the customer into the company database
● Actively listen to what the customer is saying/needs and provide empathy and patience to their situation
● Effectively and efficiently navigate the company’s operating software program
● Spend approximately 25 minutes each day learning in GC University
● Understand and embrace the company’s core values and mission
● Work in a fast-paced, high volume, fun, energetic environment
● Follow the rules and guidelines established by the management team
● Bring a positive attitude to communication with both the customers and your coworkers
● Make an effort to identify and be aware of areas that may require improvement and work on them
● Be respectful to the time of your coworkers by arriving to your scheduled shift on time
● Support other team members as necessary
● Show up everyday 100% engaged in your area of responsibility
● Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned
● Embrace and embody the company’s core values
● Work closely with both the sales team and the billing department to accurately and efficiently provide quality service to our customers
● Bring any concerns to the attention of the management team and any necessary other team leaders
● Keep organized, detailed notes for each call and order and comply to the best of your ability to any and all information requests from the chargeback and/or collections department
● In reference to due dumpsters
○ Researching and confirming container delivery date
○ Researching to be sure the customer hasn't reached out and it was inadvertently missed
○ Reaching out to overdue containers on site via phone and text, any container with declined days via phone call, billing days over allowance
○ Charging no more than once per week to each container
○ Finaling those who are declining and unresponsive
